Fourth Full of Fun
Here are some highlights from our fourth of July. We spent the day with Dave's family. The tradition of hiking the "Y" in the morning and seeing the balloons, followed by Kneaders french toast breakfast. Then a BBQ at our house and fireworks in Pleasant Grove. If you live around here, I would definitely recommend the ones in PG. While Stadium of Fire are obviously spectacular, PG offers a really good show and it only took us five minutes to get out of town after the show (instead of 2 hours). Sitting right under the fireworks, feeling like they are falling on top of you is my favorite. And who can resist the sexy firemen that put on the show?! On top of the "Y" with Dave's mom in the middle. Melissa and Steve. Dave's sister Melissa and her daughter Sage.
That is cool that you hiked the Y. Ryan and I were on the balloon field and he zoomed in and took a picture of the Y and you could actually see the people there....unfortunately....it didn't upload to the computer for some reason. I bet that was a fun view of the balloons.
Love these pictures, especially the one of Lincoln's head. It's seriously a cool pic. Too bad we weren't there to join you on your early morning hike. Ha Ha! Still miss you. See ya soon!
Looks like you had a great time on the 4th! Can you believe I've never actually climbed Y mountain? I'm going to have to put that on my list of things to do in Utah! Melissa
