The Sky is Falling!

Or rather the arch is falling. My brother called and told me that the Wall Arch in Arches National Park collapsed today. Just a reminder to take advantage of one of the many great national parks we have at our disposal (all over the country). Arches is one of the coolest parks I've been to, just because it's so amazing. But, aren't they all?! I have many great memories of trips there. I'm sure some of you reading my blog remember those trips!

Here's a snippet from an article:
One minute it was there, the next it was gone.

The collapse of "Wall Arch" at Arches National Park proves once again that gravity does work, even though you might wonder after gazing at the "rockitecture" of this dazzling Utah park.

WOW! I didn't realize that my phone call would cause a posting on your blog! I guess we need to make a trip to Arches before anything else happens.

So sad! I will always remember arches with that random trip we took and that one guy with the Surburban. It's such a cool place and I haven't been for years. We'll have to plan a trip one day!

I am so sad, and mad. I have always wanted to go (and I only live a few hours away) and keep telling Josh we need to go, but now it is gone. Well, we can still go anyway, but it is still sad it is gone. It was so beautiful in pictures.

That is sad, even for a "non-outdoors girl" like myself.

That really does make me kind of depressed today. I always loved that hike. I miss southern Utah.

That is so sad!! I will never forget our trip to arches. It was such a fun time. Remember that girl Anouk that we gave a book of mormon to, I wonder if she ever investigated the church?

I too loved Arches National Park. It was seriously one of my favorites. Crazy that it fell; makes me sad.

That is crazy that that happened. You go there and admire how cool the arches are, and have been for many many people to see, just thinking that it will always stay like that. Sure is motivation to go see the sites!
