Well, my worst fears have come true. Lincoln is now officially faster than me on his bike. Truthfully, he was even with his training wheels on. Yesterday, his friend Gavin, came over to our house to show Lincoln that he had taken off his one remaining training wheel. He was fast as lightning and Lincoln was in awe. He went right to the backyard and asked Dave to take off his training wheels. Today, he is riding down to Gavin's house and back. I'm sure by the end of the week, he'll have signed up for a triathlon. Where did we get this athletic little kid? It's a mystery to us! A couple of videos (for Dave's viewing pleasure) of Lincoln riding his bike and also showing off his ring pull-ups. Notice...no shirt again.

Well he is amazing however, he has a very interesting way of dismounting! haha! I remember when I learned to ride a two wheeler (5-6), so he definately did not get this part of his athletic ability from me! (or any other part) Way to go Lincoln!
Oh one more thing... I love cheerleader Scout in the background!
Oh my gosh. He is unbelievable! Guys, is it really so hard to figure out that he gets his natural athleticism from me?! These are adorable videos!
Way to go Linc! Wyatt still hasn't even mastered this skill yet. ( he gets his abilities from me) Linc looks like he has been riding forever.
I'm going to have to show this video to Camille, who still refuses to learn how to ride a bike at AGE 8!!! I don't think she gets that from either of us, as Brad and I are both quite athletic!

LOL; what a brave little man. He's so cute. Dito to stephen and debbie--love scout the cheerleader. :)
Thanks for your opinion on my blog. I'm still deciding but I think I'm going to try and brave a white coat. We'll see what happens--I may be over budget on dry cleaning. :) I'll let you know when I make my final decision.

Give it up. He gets his athleticism from us. It just rubbed off in all that food I cooked over the years... hee hee!
Sorry the day came. Maybe now you will take up marathoning?
On behalf of Gavin, I say, "You're welcome!!" He he! Off with the training wheels today, onto the Olympics tomorrow. That boy could make you rich! Just think about that!!
