Thanksgiving

We were excited to host Thanksgiving again this year at our house. It's so much fun to have everyone over and to have leftovers. Yes, we are a family of leftover-lovers. Dave worked Thanksgiving this year, so we had to make sure that we cooked a turkey at our house when he came home. Tami and I both cooked turkeys, so needless to say....a whole lot of turkey was present that day. A holiday completely centered around food - a girl's dream! At one point in the evening I tried to get the family to say what they were grateful for and it turned it pure sarcasm and silliness. So, on a serious note, I'm especially grateful this year for my family's health. I feel that it is important to acknowledge gifts from our Heavenly Father while we still have them. You never know where life will take us.
Tami made place cards that were adorable!

The only picture I could snag of Daryl was reading the ads for "Day After" sales.

Playing games with the family.

I made a treasure hunt for the little kids around the backyard. Here they are with their treasure.

Loving the new game I got for the holiday. Hungry Hippos is the new favorite toy.

It looks like you had a great Thanksgiving! I'm still disappointed that I didn't get to try any of your stuffing that Dave loves so much!

Sounds like you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! So glad to hear! Although I have to admit the leftover thing is kind of weird...you really like leftovers? :)

I'm glad you had a fun Thanksgiving. How fun that you hosted it. We always either go to Jimmy's parents or mine, so I never have to cook the turkey, and I am the only on that likes leftovers, so I guess that works.
Hey I have a huge favor to ask you. This is last minute, but Jimmy's 30th birthday is on Sunday. would you and Dave mind writing a quick memory you have of Jimmy, and e-mailing it to me @ amyofrog@hotmail.com.
Thankyou so much!!
