Some "isms"

Recent Lincolnism:
While squinting up into the sun, Lincoln released about his fourth sneeze within a few minutes. Exasperated, he complained to me, "I keep bless-you-ing when I look at the sun!" Apparently we don't say "sneezing" a lot at our house.

Recent Scoutism:
Scout loves beautiful things and especially loves putting "my" in front of everything she says. She almost always refers to the color purple as, "my purple" and so on. The other morning when I poured her bowl of cheerios she asked me if they were her beautiful ones. Smiling, I said yes. She batted her eyes and held her hands to her chest and said, "Oh, I love my beautiful cheerios!" She's a littlle on the dramatic side sometimes.

Your kids are hilarious! Alexis can't see anything purple without saying, "Hey, purple is Scout's favorite color!"

Coincidentally, I read this while eating my very own beautiful cheerios! In fact, I nearly spit them out while laughing. I love our beautiful Scout!

Too cute.
My kids are currently obsessed with the "rainbow-colored" Fruity Cheerios --I bet Scout would love them!
Wish we could see you! I miss you so much!!

Katie, Love the updates, but miss the pictures - find the cord please or should I take up a collection to get you a new one.

Also, finally on Good reads - are you. Can I be your friend?

Love you!

Katie, so weird seeing you at the Draper Temple. How random. I hope you don't mind, but I found your site through Lindsey and so you are now added to my list because I would love to keep tabs on your family. Only 2, what is wrong with you... they are so beautiful, can't wait for you to find the USB cord.
