A little sentimental

The song "You Belong to Me" always brings a smile to my face for two reasons. While I was in Uganda for the summer, my mom always tried to tell me about this old song that made her think of me. She heard it playing in the grocery store while I was gone, and she said that she just started to cry because she was so worried about me. The song made her think of my adventures. She told me that I belonged to her and I could not stay in Uganda. Later when I came back,she was at my apartment in Provo, when I told her that she had to hear this great song from of all things the "Shrek" soundtrack. It was, of course, that song. I told her it was a romantic song and it made me think of Dave. She said I was wrong and that she could think of me and love the song. We decided we could share the song. After my wedding, she told me that she would loan me the song for a little while. I hadn't thought about the song in a long time until now. So, a tribute to my mom at this time of year. She gave me a beautiful wedding five years ago next week. Oh yeah, and Happy Anniversary to my man!
