Actual Christmas Day

On Christmas Day the kids and I went to the fire station. I forgot my camera, of course! And, I missed the best moment of gift-giving ever. Dave had special presents for the kids there. Scout got a wagon full of blocks which she loved. Lincoln got a big boy bike with training wheels on it. Thanks to our friends, this one is on loan until he can handle a bigger one. Well, I thought maybe he would have a tough time with it since he has tried his friends and couldn't quite do it. Well, not so. He jumps on it in the engine bay and takes off like fire engine out of the station. I wish I had it on video!

After that, we went over for a delicious dinner at Tami and Daryl's house. Steve and Debbie came to celebrate too. The only way I could catch Daryl for a picture was when he was shoveling the snow and he didn't know I took it. Ya, was completely absent from all pictures, since he just waited for the exact moment that Lincoln went home so that he could get his Wii out and play it. Gotta love 11 year olds! We had a great time and shared some wonderful memories. Thanks Tam for yet another wonderful holiday!
