Is anyone interested?
Shay and I were lamenting over the fact that we don't live closer and then got to talking about books. I belong to a book group and it's fun. But, it's really hard for me to be able to go to the little gatherings and find babysitters and all that stuff because of Dave's weird schedule and my special child. =) She came up with the idea of doing an online book group thing. So, what do you think? I know a lot of you few people who read my blog do read. Anyone interested if I started a book blog? I would never be a book-nazi or anything like that. We could make it really casual and fun. I don't know about you, but blogging has been my little itty bit of sanity some evenings after my kids go to bed. I'm a freak okay?! I don't even know how I would do it or what kind of rules we would have, but I thought it could be worth a try if someone wants to. Let me know. I will take it as a no-go if no one comments on this post. This is open to all (including my sisters, neighbors, and long-distant friends). Oh wait, that's everyone!

I am the reading queen! I would love to do it.
interested!
I think that would be great! I am always up to talking about books I am reading or have read. I also am looking for great suggestions.
I would be interested. I can't promise that I would read every book that you do, but I would love to do what I have time for, or should I say make time for. I just watched becoming Jane, and I am wanting to read all the classic Jane Eyre books again.
Have you heard of goodreads.com? It's a free website that you can use to catalog all of your books. The ones that you've read, that you want to read etc. You can rate your books and write reviews and stuff. Also, you can be linked to your friends and they can see what you're reading and what you like. It's not a bookclub exactly, but it certainly gets people talking about their books. If you join we can be friends.
I am obviously interested. :) Let me know how I can help get it going.
Love to... once I regain sanity. Wait... is anyone willing to wait 18 years? In all serious... I'd like to give it a try...
You know I'm up for anything book-related. How exciting--going to book club in my pajamas!
Katie, if this is a repeat--sorry! Anyway, I'm in; just tell me how and when. -Melissa
Yeay for reading and chatting about it! What's first on the list?
I'd like to give it a try, no promises on how well I'll do since I love to watch my tv shows too much in my spare time!
Katie,
It's Lisa (Johnson) Holterhoff- from "across the hall" at Liberty Square! I got your blog site from Melissa and have loved catching up on you and Dave! I just started a blog also but it's a private one. Send me your email and I'll send you the invite thing.

P.S. I would totally be interest in the online book club. I love to read --when my kids let me!
I just read my comment again, and what I meant to say was Jane Austin novels.
Katie,
I set up a book review on goodreads.com. Check it out if you want to coordinate through that website. -Melissa
