But, on to cuter things. I came downstairs the other day to catch Scout with a blue crayon in her hand a smile on her face. "Color mommy!" she said. And color she did, all over the hard floor, by the couch, under the table, on cupboards. I went to retrieve my trusty Magic Eraser and she went crazy. She begged me for the eraser and insisted she "clean up mommy". So I let her, and she loved it. Don't worry I didn't let her do it for too long, so she wouldn't burn her hands off!
The problem with being a parent is that by the time you are experienced, you are usually unemployed.

Only in Utah....
could I put my kids to bed wearing shorts and T-shirts last night, and then in footed winter jammies tonight. I swear to you that I thought I was having menopause last night as I tossed and turned from being so hot. Too cheap to turn on the air, assuming the fan would help out, and couldn't open the windows because it was raining and doing crazy windy stuff outside. And now it's finally the perfect temperature in my house tonight. I'm grateful for the rain only so that it would cool down (and I wouldn't have to water my lawn). Did anyone else have night sweats last night? Sheesh!

Wow, I so need you to come teach my kids that right now! Amy is the human tornado and Samantha is her sidekick. It's like they know that I'm too sick to care what they're doing, so they're taking advantage! I'm going to have to show them these pictures of Scout for sure!
She is so cute & those are such cute pictures!
What is with our kids and writing on things? Tyse wrote on the wall in the chapel last week at church, Emitt writes all over himself, and the wall that we use for timeout- a masterpiece!
And, for that matter, what is with the night sweats? I know exactly which night you are speaking of, because I had the same problem! I couldn't sleep at all, but couldn't open the window either. We should have kept eachother company!
Aren't you too young for menopause? Are you lying about your age? You're really 45 aren't you.
How cute that she wanted to clean up her own mess. She is such a cutie!! I couldn't live without my magic eraser!!
