Two babies, some cement, and a late night

Last week I threw a party for two friends that just recently had babies come into their lives. Allison adopted a baby girl and Ruth had a little boy. So, we had some friends come over for a little party and we just ate and ate and talked and squished the little babies. Thanks to my neighbors for bringing such yummy food and making it so fun. The best part of it all was that it turned into a neighborhood BBQ/party. The party started at 5:00 and husbands eventually joined in on the fun. Next thing you know the guys (including little boys) are helping Dave put in a cement curb, and we are hanging out until almost 10:00pm. I love our neighborhood!

I love our neighborhood/street too! I was so bummed to find out that you guys partied for so long and we had to leave so early!

Sounds like you guys are just having a blast with neighbors and friends. Niev and Scout do look like sisters--the crazy hair and all! Niev has the same problem: funky and out of control in the back, yet straggly in the front. Let me know if you come up with anything cute. I need help!

I am so glad you have such great neighbors- but just a reminder about the house for sale just across the grass... come see how great our neighborhood is!
