My kids adore watermelon! Why can't they love something with more nutritional value than water?
Another summertime favorite. The BEST snow cones ever, just down the street from us. I'm a sucker for snow cones.
FHE with our friends, the Jensens, at the park down from the snow cone shack.
Oh, the nights when 9:00pm doesn't mean that you should have already been in bed, because everyone in the neighborhood is out enjoying the night.
They enjoy jumping on the tramp together, but this night they were pretending to be dogs, I think. You decide what that pose means.
Scout and Linc had a mud-fest and this picture does not do it justice. Her whole backside was covered. She was happy as a clam!

Those pictures are so awesome! It makes me really excited for summer to officially get here and stay so that we can all play outside together everyday!
These pictures are hilarious!! Lincoln and Scout certainly are cute. They seem to have a lot of fun whatever they are doing.
Great pictures! I love the dog poses. I love summer days. We have been having crazy weather here too. There have been tornado watches every day this week. Now it is in the 90's with 90% humidity. No fun!!
Yeah, summer days are what I remember as a kid. I don't remember too many winter plays but summer memories are plentiful and I think your pictures show why that is. Kids and summer go together like sky and clouds.
Concerning The Glass Castle, I have to confess I haven't even started it yet. Between my vacation with Lora and just everyday life, my book reading has come to a complete halt; however, I'm hoping to start reading it tonight or this weekend at the latest. Hopefully that works out! :) I'll let you know what I think of it when I get into though.

Yup- kids and no nutrition. That is emitt as he eats grapes. Just grapes. Maybe a piece of celery now and again. No wonder he is so tiny!
Love those 9:00 nights outside, the mud, and the park. Sounds like you guys have way more fun than we do- Tyse isn't a huge fan of organizing coupons. Darn it.
